Holiday destination
From the front door to the beach of Petten aan Zee it's 600 meters, so a five-minute walk and maybe two minutes by bike. Petten has a few child-friendly restaurants, a pizzeria, and a Spar supermarket that is also open on Sundays.
From Petten, there is a fine sandy beach stretching over 30 kilometers up to Den Helder, from where ferries cross over to Texel. Expansive cycling and hiking trails along the dyke and through the surrounding dunes and heaths characterize the landscape.

Getting there
Take the highways (A1, A2, A4, A5) past Amsterdam to the A9 towards Alkmaar. Exit the highway in Alkmaar, where you will pass the Alkmaar football stadium nearby, and from there take the N9 towards Bergen and Den Helder to Petten. House number 21 is located in the De Watersnip park.

Schönes Ferienhaus, toller Garten. Super ausgestattet, Die neuen Stühle und Kissen sind schön und bequem. Die Fahrräder funktionieren gut, es gibt Strandspielzeug, einen Grill, einen zweiten Kühlschrank und vieles mehr. Die Lage im Park ist toll, der Nordseestrand wunderschön. Jederzeit wieder!
