Holiday destination
On the east side of the property adjacent to the Wadden Sea. A beautiful walk along, turn left on Watt as to the teahouse Boarg (2.5 km) and then further north to the village bird sanctuary "Odde". To the huge sandy beach is about two kilometers, with our bicycles so barely five minutes to walk a good ten minutes. There is also a nudist and a dog beach. The Friesen cafe, bakery, butcher, fish shop, savings market, ice cream parlor, pizzeria and many restaurants are within easy reach. A nice wine shop (der.weinfriese) is also nearby - in this house ("Sure Kimming") stay our friends, leaving you to wish for a small fee, a romantic-equipped sauna.

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet und die Lage war, besonders auch mit Hund, sehr gut. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung wie zu Hause gefühlt. Herr Hornung war am Telefon sehr nett und es war alles sehr unkompliziert. Eine Kleinigkeit wurde allerdings kurz vor der Anreise telef. mitgeteilt, und zwar war der Geschirrspüler defekt und ein neuer wurde noch nicht eingebaut. Dies war für uns aber nicht so problematisch. Herrn Hornung gilt nochmals herzlichen Dank für die Vermietung dieser schönen Wohnung.

Wir waren einer Ferienwohnung, in der es an nichts gefehlt hat. Die große Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Für die Spülmaschine gab es sogar Klarspüler und Salz zum Nachfüllen. Zum Kochen sind Töpfe, Pfannen und Geschirr sind reichlich vorhanden. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, zwei Fahrräder zu nutzen, was wir nicht ausprobiert haben. Wer sein eigenen Rad mitbringt, findet sogar Werkzeug. Auch an Mehrfachsteckdose und Verlängerungskabel mangelt es nicht. Die Kleiderschränke bieten reichlich Platz, das Bad hat gute Abstellmöglichkeiten. Am Ende des Grundstücks stehen ein Strandkorb und eine Bank mit Blick aufs Watt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war gut. Ein kleines Manko sind die etwas durchgelegen Betten und das kalte Licht in der Wohnküche. Die Insel ist so abwechslungsreich wie das Wetter, das wir hatten.
