Daily fresh market with fish and vegetables only a few minutes away. Lots of shops, bakery, pharmacy, bank and everything you need is easily reachable by car in a few minutes.
Holiday destination
Donnalucata is a very beautiful and characteristic fishing village. You can organise day trips to Taormina, Noto, Syracuse etc. You reach Ragusa, Modica or Scicli in only 8 to 30 minutes. The flat is located in Donnalucata, a part of Scicli, one of the most beautiful baroque towns in Sicily and part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The winters here are very mild with temperatures between 15 and 18 degrees. The position is very quiet. There is no traffic. Parking facilitiy at the house. There is the possibilty to heat in winter.

Nach einem zweiwöchigen Aufenhalt im Mai 2018 haben wir Ende September/Anfang Oktober 2018 eine weitere Woche in der Casa Fiona verbracht. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön im Obergeschoß eines Anwesens unmittelbar am Strand ca. 2 km östlich von Donnalucata gelegen. Der Meerblick von der großen, geschmackvoll möblierten Terrasse auf der Südseite der Wohnung ist einfach traumhaft - verlässt man das Anwesen durch das Gartentor an dessen Südseite, befindet man sich direkt am Strand. Die Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und ihre Ausstattung lässt aus unserer Sicht nichts zu wünschen übrig. Dora, die sehr nette Vermieterin, war bei Fragen immer sofort erreichbar. Alles in allem können wir einen Aufenthalt in der Casa Fiona wärmstens empfehlen - für Mai 2019 haben wir sie erneut für zwei Wochen gebucht.

FW ist sehr stark abgewohnt und ungepflegt einspricht keinem Standard. Küchenartikel zu wenig für 4 Personen und Kochgeschirr eigentlich nicht mehr zu benutzen ( Töpfe und Pfannen mit Beschichtung total kaputt ). Zugang laut Vermieterin nur über den Strand möglich nicht durch den Garten. Dieser Weg ist kein Weg da unbeleuchtet und nicht befestigt ( wenn man Abends essen geht muss man über den Sand laufen und das mit kleinen Kindern ). Vermieterin besitzt einen kleinen Hund, der frei im Garten läuft und wenn Vermieterin nicht da ist immer bellt oder jault das geht bis nach Mitternacht . Toilettenspülung sehr dürftig. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist nicht stimmig. Erholung stelle ich mir anders vor.
