The municipality of Bad Grund charges a guest fee, which is already included in the booking price.

With its historic old town and the imperial palace, Goslar is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Braunschweig is just 45 minutes away. The historic towns of Quedlinburg and Wernrigerode are well worth a visit.
Bad Grund is easily accessible by public transport and is an ideal starting point for exploring the Harz Mountains.
Holiday destination
The Harz is known for very nice holidays in every season. The nearby Weltwald in Bad Grund offers many hiking trails around the Hübischstein. The Iberger stalactite cave is also nearby. In the wider area, you will find Clausthal Zellerfeld, Seesen, the National Park in the Upper Harz. Nearby, you will find Torfhaus with winter sports and an observation tower, the Brocken, Braunlage, and Bad Harzburg, which offers a wide range of leisure activities.
Getting there
A map with directions is available in the pictures section. Travelling by car is flexible and convenient, especially if you want to easily reach your excursion destinations. Our holiday apartment can also be reached by train. First travel to Gittelde. From there, continue by bus. Regional trains serve many destinations in the area, and a regional bus stops at regular intervals near the holiday apartment.
