Carrara, the city of white marble, is about 25 km away, and the enchanting Cinque Terre, which can be reached by regular excursion boats from Marina di Massa during the summer months, are about 50 km away.
Holiday destination
With bicycles, you can reach the sea in 15 minutes. Here, along the miles-long sandy beach, perfect for long walks with a view of the mountains, there are numerous beach resorts as well as small, free beaches. The shops located near the house, as well as two bars, can be reached in just a few minutes by bike or on foot. Likewise, a good restaurant and a pizzeria.
The exclusive resort of Forte dei Marmi with its luxury boutiques is about 7 km away. Here, there is a large market every Wednesday and in the summer also on Sundays, where you can find many a bargain.
