Holiday destination
The backside of the house faces west and offers a wonderful view to the valley across the forest to Sellin and, in the distance, Granitz Castle.
It takes about 250 m on foot to reach the fine, sandy south beach. The path takes you through a residential area and a forest. The shoreline of Rügen is only 100m from the house.
The Baltic Sea resort Sellin is close to the coastal high forest (Granitz) with a connection to the Mönchgut peninsula in the south-east of Rügen.
Sellin is not only near the Baltic Sea, but also to Lake Sellin, which is on the western side of Mönchgut and connected with the Bay of Greifswald.
Beside Binz and Göhren, Sellin is one of the major seaside resorts on Rügen.
Getting there
By car:
from the west: A1/A7 towards Hamburg, then A1 to Lübeck, A20 to Rostock, exit Grimmen onto B96 to Bergen, continue towards Sellin, in the village continue to Südstrand ("south beach" ), Weißer Steg, turn left into: Neuer Weg.
From the south: via Berlin A11 towards Stettin, then A20, in the direction of Rostock, continue as explained above.

Sehr geehrte Familie Kusmierz,
wir bedanken uns für den freundlichen Empfang, die Gastfreundschaft und die unkomplizierte Abwicklung.
In ihrem Haus Meeresfunkeln ist ankommen und wohlfühlen Programm. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig. Ein toller Urlaub, leere Strände, wechseldes Wetter, so wie es im Spätherbst üblich ist.
Wir wünschen Ihnen viele nette Gäste, die pfleglich mit dem Objekt umgehen.

Sehr schönes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in Sellin, welches keine Wünsche offen liess. Objekt war wie in Beschreibung angegeben, die Ausstattung war hochwertig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Lage mit Fernsicht die Geräumigkeit des Hauses mit der voll ausgestatteten Küche sowie die schöne Sauna, welche wir täglich genutzt haben. Rückfragen und Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter waren sehr schnell und unkompliziert - für uns in diesem Ferienhaus ein gelungener Urlaub auf Rügen.
