Holiday destination
Westkapelle is located directly by the sea, surrounded by beach, dike, dunes, and a small lake/creek and a forest area to the south of the town.
A hiking trail is marked around the lake, and anglers can find their favorite spot. Right at the town center, there is a small beach at the spot where the dike was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town begins the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! Approximately 12 km of sandy beach unfold there, where you can endlessly stroll along the shore. Even during a proper southwest storm, this beach route is bustling, and not just on the beach itself.
In various beach pavilions, you can stop for a bite, enjoying a fantastic view of the sea.
Getting there
You can arrive and depart every day. Arrival from 4:00 PM (or upon request). Departure by 10:00 AM (or upon request).
During the high season (July and August), you can only arrive and depart on Saturdays.
