Holiday destination
Old farmhouse in a panoramic, secluded and quiet position. On the border between Tuscany and Umbria, in an extremely panoramic position, with a view of the charming Pierle Castle, an ancient fortress of feudal origin, Casa La Primula seems to be suspended in time. It takes a little effort to get up here, the 2.5 km road is almost all unpaved and quite steep (not recommended for sports cars), but once you’re on spot you will be rewarded with real peace and quiet and above all with a breathtaking view. When you want to re-emerge from your refuge, about 5 km away there are the villages of Mercatale, in Tuscany and Lisciano Niccone, in Umbria, endowed with every service. The famous town of Cortona is about 16 km away.

Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch mitten in einem bewaldeten Berg. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist etwas beschwerlich, weil es eine ziemlich steile Schotterstraße ist. Aber alles möglich. Das nächste Städtchen ist eine knappe halbe Stunde Autofahrt entfernt. Wir haben von Dachs bis Fuchs alles im Garten beobachten können. War sehr schön. Tolles Haus und vor allem ein toller Pool.

This country house in Mercatale was amazing. Located in a very wild nature from one side and beautiful and traditional indoor from other side. That was exactly what we were looking for. A lot of utilities to have dinners and little family parties, pool with a nice garden, different levels of landscape, a lot of space outside, quiet and very peaceful. Even if it is a steep slope to the house, it is definitely worth it to stay there and enjoy the views and nature in comfort.
