Holiday destination
Situated on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, the villa is dominated by the antique Etruscan cities of Cortona and Castiglion del Lago. A short drive takes you to Arezzo with its masterpieces painted by Piero della Francesca, to the medieval villages of Montepulciano, Pienza and Lucignano, as well as to Lake Trasimeno and Perugia.
Only 4 km away the village of Castiglion del Lago with its impressive castle, shops, restaurants and all kind of facilities, and from where it is starting the bicycle path giving the possibility to ride around the lake.

Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Unser Haus war sauber, die Zimmer hatten alle ein WC mit Dusche, der Salzwasserpool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt. Die Anlage insgesamt ist sehr gepflegt. Es war fast alles so, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Die nette Dame, welche den Schlüssel übergeben hat spricht Italienisch. Die Übergaben bei An und Abreise haben hervorragend geklappt.

Lovely, well-maintained villa in quiet location next to two other villas separated by a hedge. During stay, private pool and garden are maintained by the friendly owners which is a plus. From Castiglione there are many beautiful villages and towns to visit. A car on site is a must. Highly recommended for a relaxing (family) holiday without the tourist crowds.
