Other recreational opportunities
Boat trips to the natural parks and beaches in the area directly from the port of Sant Ambroggio, free parking at the port. Half-day and full-day excursions are offered at reasonable prices.
Holiday destination
The area offers all kinds of water sports (boat trips, diving school, boat rental in the village), the beach is very suitable for small children as it is very shallow, snorkeling is possible in the rocks at the edge of the beach. The resort is a perfect starting point for walks and hikes in the immediate surroundings but also mountain walks (GR20) only 20 minutes away, a nature reserve with small bays and beaches is about 3 km away, Calvi and Ile Rousse are about 15 km away.
Getting there
The Marine of Sant Ambroggio is located about 15 minutes from Calvi and Ile Rousse on the west coast of Corsica. Both cities have a ferry port, Calvi also has an international airport.
Depending on the season, there are different ship routes from France or Italy and flight routes from Germany. The city of Bastia is about an hour's drive away with a wide range of ferry connections and the international airport, which also has regular flights from Germany.
The route from Bastia is well developed and pleasant to drive. Ajaccio is about 3 hours drive away.

Einen lieben Dank an Frau Köhl,
die Unterkunft ist so eingerichtet als würde die Besitzerin selbst darin wohnen.
Alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, top Küchenausstattung es fehlt nichts. Einzig meine eigenen Kochmesser müssen immer mit auf Reisen, wegen der Schärfe.
Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt!

Das Ferienhaus liegt ruhig und von der Terrasse aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf das Meer. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und Küchenausstattung perfekt. Zum schönen Strand geht man zu Fuß etwa 10 Minuten. Einkaufsmarkt ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Restaurant am Hafen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Bahnstation von der Tram de Balagne liegt auch in direkter Nähe.
