Holiday destination
Our house is located on the outskirts of Audierne, but is still only a stone's throw from the harbour of the small, lively harbour town of Audierne. Here you will find many restaurants and bars and small shops. Audierne is not a tourist town, but has retained its original Breton character. It is not for nothing that Audierne is called the "Pearl of Brittany". The nearest beach with fine white sand and turquoise blue water can be reached on foot in a few minutes. In summer, there is a lifeguard service.
Getting there
You can arrive by car, by plane and by train. The nearest train station is in Quimper, a bus will take you to Audierne. By plane, you land in Brest or in Nantes. In this house, you can manage wonderfully without a car, as the beach, countryside and shopping are all within walking distance. However, if you want to explore the whole of Cap Sizun, a car is recommended. Or you can rent a bicycle from the bicycle rental companies. It is advisable to make a reservation in good time, especially in summer.

Wir sind mit unseren 3 Kromfohrländern (40 cm) angereist. Für uns als Paar mit den Hunden war das Haus und der Garten in perfekter Größe. Die Ausstattung ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben die Zeit der Ruhe genossen. Wenn es uns einmal zu ruhig war, haben wir über das Mobil-Telefon ein wenig Radio gehört. Das Haus ist im bretonischen Stil, war sauber und alles war gut für unsere Anreise vorbereitet. Die Lage des Hauses ist für uns ideal, denn die Geschäfte, Restaurants und der Hafen sind gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad zu erreichen und dennoch liegt es in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet. Vom Schlafzimmerfenster oben kann man den Leuchtturm und das Meer sehen. Auch der Strand ist nicht sehr weit. Und Audierne ist ein Ort, der nicht zu touristisch ist. Wir lieben es dort.
