The very modern and elegantly furnished apartment is located in a villa in the bay of Portoferraio, directly opposite the picturesque old town and the Medici Fortress. Casa Le Grotte consists of a living area with a kitchenette and double sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a bathroom. Another double bedroom with a terrace and sea view has separate access, making it particularly suitable for older children or friends. The large pool of the owner's family, who live in another part of the villa, can be shared by the guests.

The German sailing school Hansa is located right next door, as are the historical excavations of the Villa Romana. Additional sailing and surfing schools can be found in Magazzini and Bagnaia.
The main town of the island of Elba, Portoferraio, with its picturesque natural harbor and old town, dominated by the fortress and Napoleon's Palace, is located about 5 km away. The quaint hilltop town of Capoliveri and Porto Azzurro with its large marina and particularly southern charm are also within about 10-15 minutes by car. At a similar distance, you'll find Lido di Capoliveri and the famous Biodola beach.

The landlords can charge the following flat-rate cancellation fees through IMM as authorized collection agents in the event of cancellation, taking into account saved expenses and the possibility of re-letting the holiday property. These flat-rate cancellation fees amount to:

In the event that you are unable to commence your trip due to an official travel ban for the Elba region, Tuscany, Italy, we offer you a free rebooking. Alternatively, we will refund the travel amount already paid - minus a small processing fee. We are happy to inform you about the necessary deadlines for this.
In general, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, which also covers cancellation due to a required Corona quarantine. We are happy to take out this insurance for you.
