Welcome to Sölvesborg.
Sölvesborg with its 17,000 inhabitants can be classified as a small Scanian/Danish town. The town was built in the protection of the fortress that gave the settlement its name. The town's network of streets also dates from the Middle Ages.
You'll find some nice little shops and several cosy cafés in the crooked little alleyways of the town.
The Listerland peninsula is largely made up of a lowland landscape where the region's characteristic fishing villages huddle together on the bay of Hanö. The legendary island of Hanö is a very popular holiday destination. You can reach it on the ferry from Nogersund.

Eine Woche Erholung pur in einer tollen, gemütlichen Stuga. Natur vom feinsten mit Blick auf eine sehr ruhig gelegenen Bucht. Es fehlte an nichts. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Danke für eine erholsame Woche.

We have just come back from two very relaxing weeks in this lovely little cottage just outside Sölvesborg. All was as described and the owner, Leiff, was very helpful and made us feel welcome from the beginning. Whilst we enjoyed the peace, quiet and stunning views the place offers, our boys, 7 and 9, loved being outside all hours and spent most of their time on the jetty by the water . A small beach is within a short walking distance to cover any needs for sand castle construction :) Shops are only a short drive away for all your family needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sweden and would are happy to recommend this little cottage to anybody who's in need of a relaxing holiday away from the crowds.
