This well-maintained holiday home has been fully renovated (fitted kitchen and sofa area in 2022), is very modernly furnished, and equipped with easy-care, warm-to-the-feet designer floors. The new bathroom includes a whirlpool with a rain shower, as well as a large sauna with two reclining benches and color light therapy. Your garden borders directly on the large canal with its own boat dock and direct water access to the Ijsselmeer - with the sandy beach just 250 meters away - or enjoy fishing, surfing, kiting, sailing, jet skiing...
Pure relaxation, in summer as well as in winter, you will find a paradise here. Open water in the garden with a private boat dock + canoe. Superb area for children of all ages. Ideal fishing spot in your own garden. Two parking spaces right in front of "Villa Zeezicht"!!

Het Makkum Beach Resort beschikt over een uitstekend recreatieaanbod zoals minigolf, verhuur van e-bikes, fietsen, skelters, kano's, motorboten en nog veel meer. Verder is een tocht naar de zeehonden of een bezoek aan de kaasmarkt in Alkmaar aan te raden. Ook de omliggende watersportplaatsen zoals Workum of Harlingen zijn de moeite waard.
Makkum Beach Resort is located right on the Ijsselmeer and invites with its wide, shallow, superbly maintained sandy beaches and its beach promenade children to play and adults to enjoy water sports or to relax and unwind.
Boutiques offer plenty of shopping opportunities.
Water sports such as surfing, catamaran sailing, kite surfing with training and rental services provide extensive leisure activity options.
Bicycle, go-kart, pedal boat, motorboat rental.
Arrival is possible from both the Osnabrück/Bremen direction and from the Ruhr area via the A31 up to the vicinity of Meppen. Then take the direction towards Meppel onto the A37. Continue on the A32 towards Heerenveen. From there, take the A7 towards Sneek/Amsterdam until the Makkum exit. From there, it's only 10 minutes to the fourth roundabout into Villapark Makkumerstrand.
The driving time from Osnabrück is approximately 2:45 h if you stick to the speed limits ;-)

Cancellation Guarantee:
If at the time of travel the Makkum Beach Resort, the province of Friesland, or the entire Netherlands should be locked down, we would not be able to fulfill our part of the contract "providing a holiday home". As a result, you would receive a refund of all your payments, provided you have not yet arrived.
Otherwise, the following conditions apply:
Up to 42 days before the day of arrival, 50% of the invoice amount is due.
In case of a later cancellation, the full invoice amount is due.
Dear guests, if a cancellation occurs, we will definitely find a mutually agreeable solution. We always strive to realize a replacement rental and would in this case charge only the reduced earnings and a flat fee of 50€. We would then waive the costs outlined above!!!
