The quaintly situated house "Suedstrand" (i.e. "South Beach") with sea view lies directly by the wildlife sanctuary and promieses an unforgettable vacation time. Relax and de-stress in the tranquil and peacefully situated holiday flat. Enjoy this ambience and panorama view during a nice breakfast or siesta on the spacious balcony as well.
The city center is only about a 4 minutes walk away. There you will find supermarkets, ice cream parlors, souvenir shops, cafés and lots of restaurants.
Visit the natural finish South Beach (appr. 5 minutes walk) and the lively North Beach and "Amber Promenade" (appr. 6-7 minutes walk).
Getting there
Via German Railways/"Deutsche Bahn": take the ICE/express train stop Binz, then continue to Goehren by bus;
via long-distance coach: get off at "Goehren/Ortsmitte";
via car: from Stralsund via Ruegen viaduct, then take the national highway B96 to Bergen and B196 to Goehren; alternatively, you can drive from Ruegen viaduct via Garz, Putbus ("German Avenue", a scenic road lined with ancient trees) to Goehren.

Host informationRuegen inspired us from the moment we visited this beautiful island for the first time. We chose to buy this apartment as it is located in one of the most overwhelming places you can find on the island. In addition, we love the design and the planning of the flat and the quality of the house. The stunning view onto the Baltic and the hilly shore is something we would not want to miss in our lives.

Wir haben uns in dieser kurzen Zeit sehr wohlgefühlt. Trotz kühlen Temperaturen und fast täglichem Nieselregen haben wir die schöne Insel Rügen erkundet und uns jeden Tag gefreut, in die tolle Ferienwohnung zurückzukehren. Sauber, super ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub hier!!!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und liegt in der Nähe des Zentrums. Leider haben wir die Ostsee auch nicht gesehen, die Bäume verdecken sie :) Die Schafe jeden Morgen haben uns den Urlaub versüßt. Was nicht so schön war, war, dass es viele Spinnweben an den Decken und Wänden gab und die Gäste über uns jeden Morgen um 7 Uhr die Stühle auf dem Balkon verschoben haben und laut waren, aber das ist nicht die Schuld der Vermieter. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und könnten uns vorstellen, in der Nebensaison wiederzukommen, wenn es etwas ruhiger ist. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.
