The lake offers various possibilities for a fun holiday.
Holiday destination
Bolsena lies 100 km close to Rome and 22 km from the famous town of Orvieto. To the sea at Montalto Marino it takes 45 km. It is embedded in the charming hills of Montevolsini at the shores of lake Bolsena. 115 km square wide, this lake fills the crater of an ancient volcano. Its waters, fed by rich undenivater springs, are particularly clean. Besides many historical places of interest one can also visit numerous etruscan sights.

Highway A1, exit Orvieto, direction Orvieto, follow signs to "Lago di Bolsena".

Mal die Seele baumeln lassen: Bei wunderschöner Aussicht über Bolsena auf den See in der Abendsonne mit einem guten Glas Wein und einem guten Buch die Zeit zeitlos genießen. In dieser licht durchfluteten Wohnung mag keine schlechte Stimmung aufkommen, von der wunderschönen Küche, in der man die lokalen Köstlichkeiten stimmungsvoll verarbeiten kann, nicht zu reden. Traumhaft schön und unbedingt wiederholenswert .... Bolsena, immer wieder .... immer wieder hier !!!

Als wir bei unserer entspannten Italienreise durch die Toscana und Umbrien im Appartement Casa Parione ankamen, waren wir vom ersten Augenblick an begeistert: Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit einem traumhaften Blick über die Dächer von Bolsena und den See ... und vor allem mit einer ganz besonderen persönlichen Atmosphäre. Für uns auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Es gibt so viel Großes und Kleines zu entdecken - von Bolsena, dem kleinen zauberhaften Ort am See mit den liebenswerten Menschen bis nach Rom (Zuganbindung in 15 km Entfernung!) .. Für uns war es keine Frage: hier müssen wir wieder hin - und zwar schon dieses Jahr!
