    Very well developed cycle path network throughout South Friesland, untouched forest hiking area in Neuenburg, maritime delicacies at the Varel harbour. Or visit the "Klimahaus" or the "Auswandererhaus" in Bremerhaven, go shopping in Oldenburg for city-lovers or wander round the district town Varel in contemplation.
    Holiday destination
    The North Sea resort of Dangast is located behind Oldenburg on the south of the Jade Bay with a view of the town of Wilhlemshaven in the north. Dangast is a former artist village and is situated on a ridge. The legendary old Kurhaus serves its guests warm rhubarb cake. From the Siel harbour, the excursion boat "Etta von Dangast" also goes along the Jade Bay. At the Quellbad pool there is also the new World Nature Port with food and drink and a viewing platform.
    Getting there
    Finding our holiday home Wattlöper is very simple. Once you have passed the exit on the A29 "Varel/Bockhorn", follow the road to Varel-Dangast. Shortly after the entrance to the village, after 150 meters on the left side of the road you will find your parking space at Edo-Wiemken-Straße 32c.

    Insgesamt eine gute Ausstattung entspricht das Haus den Fotos. Viele positive Aspekte wie z.B. genügend große Kaffeetassen. Das Gesamtbild wird aber von einzelnen nicht so unwesentlichen Details getrübt. Dusche mit Schwarzschimmel an den unteren Kanten, liesse sich sicherlich mit Chlorreiniger entfernen. Aufbewahrungskörbe des Bades schon etwas schmudellig. Ceranfeld des Herdes in der Küche komplett gerissen. Kein Sparschäler und Küchenmesser bei denen Schärfe zuletzt vor 30 Jahren vorhanden war. Die Grundausstattung ist hier in die Jahre gekommen. Kartoffelstampfer fehlt, Schneidebretter könnten mal erneuert werden. Vom Wasserkocher öffnet sich der Deckel selbstständig (Verbrühungsgefahr) Die Terrasse ist ungepflegt Hecke und Efeu nicht geschnitten. Vor der Tür Staunässe im Kies dadurch viele Mücken.

    Es war eine schöne Zeit in Dangast- durch d vorhand. Trockner war der ständige Regen okay. Helles u geschmackv eingerichtetes Reihenhäuschen. Fliegengitter an d Dachfenstern wären toll. So muss man d SOFORT hineinkommenden Mücken leider als Flecken an d Wänden hinterlassen. Nachts hört man sehr stark d Stromgeräusch der Wasserpumpe im Kizi. Hab i einfach ausgemacht u morgens wieder an. Das WC oder d Dusche roch stark, das hat aber nur mich gestört. Und mit geschlossener Tür war das okay. Den Esstisch zog ich so unter der offenen Treppe hervor, dass nicht d ganze Staub von ihr darauf landete. Sind aber ganz persönliche Hygienetics. Sahnehäubchen: Bestes Eis, Stellaz: From Nose to tail, Zweite Heimat: gemütliches Café, Kurhaus: legendärer Rhabarberkuchen, Labskaus, DanGastQuellbad: Schwimnen bei Regenwetter!
