Guests owning their own horse are welcome to bring their horse and dog along. Our riding arena and beautiful hacking spaces allow you to spend spend plenty time with your four-legged friends.
The nature park village Rissenthal is located in a romantic valley, 5 km from Losheim am See in the northern part of the Saarland, which received the German Tourism Award in 2012.
From here you can reach the most beautiful certified hiking trails in Germany. The exciting surroundings offer hikers, cyclists, horse and dog lovers as well as families relaxation in nature and countless excursion destinations, e.g. to Trier, Metz.
Water enthusiasts can relax at Losheim's reservoir or at the health bath with mineral spring in Merzig.

We are a small family company and live together with our animals: horses, dogs and cats on our little horse farm, the "Sunshine Ranch". Right underneath you'll find our holiday homes, so we can take care of you personally on site. The family includes the "seniors" Klaus + Maria Elisabeth, our daughters Bettina and Natalie with their partners and children. Because we love living on the land and our Saarland home is very beautiful, we built our little farm and the holiday homes ourselves and put our experiences into our own holiday homes. We particularly love the Mediterranean country style and have tried to integrate this into the style of our region. We designed and decorated our houses ourself as if we would holiday there our selves. We love having contact with people and animals. It is our vision that our guests will spend a relaxing holiday at the heart of nature in comfortable, healthy accommodation.
