Holiday destination
Mützenich is the ideal starting point for hikes or bicycle tours. Wander through the amplitudes of the forests in Eifel National Park, explore the Eifelsteig and the highest upland moor in Europe, the "High Fens". You can also go on an easy cycling tour on RAVeL bike path that was opened in 2012 (the former Vennbahnstraße). These destinations are within walking distance. Discover Monschau - the "Pearl of the Eifel". Enjoy the idyllic half-timbered homes or local culinary delicacies!
Getting there
Directions: A4 (from Düsseldorf/Köln (Cologne)): At Aachener Kreuz take the Lüttich exit onto the A 44 to the Lichtenbusch exit; left onto the B 258 towards Monschau; - through Roetgen to Konzen. After the town sign for Konzen turn right towards "Mützenich/Hatzevenn" (signed) and drive until Mützenich. Approx. 700m after the town sign, turn right onto the street "Im Brand". The holiday home is located about 1 km down on the left side.

Wir haben sehr erholsame Tage in dem gemütlichen Ferienhaus der Familie Völl verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, es ist alles vorhanden, um sich rundum wohl zu fühlen. Von der Haustüre aus starten herrliche Wanderwege, das passende Kartenmaterial ist reichlich vorhanden, Auch wenn wir aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht mehr kommen können, so können wir dieses Haus sehr empfehlen und danken dem Ehepaar Völl für die liebevolle Betreuung. Hallo Familie Völl, wir haben uns in Ihrem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt, das Haus war sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Das hohe Venn ist mit Hund doch eher ein Reinfall, weil Hunde auf den meisten Flächen nicht gestattet sind. Dafür hatte das Umland und vor allem die belgischen Ardennen viele reizvolle Wanderungen zu bieten, welche das kleine Manko mehr als wett gemacht haben. Wir haben die Wanderungen sehr genossen. Wir wünschen Ihnen eine gute Zeit, Doris und Ralf Schuhmacher
