Holiday destination
The Pönitz lake district, just 3.5 km from Scharbeutz, offers plenty of hiking and biking trails. The Hansapark is nearby and Fehmarn Island can be reached by car in 1 hour. Numerous excursion destinations, such as Erdbeerhof Karls , Sealife in Timmendorfer Strand and Lübeck's old town can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car.
Sports activities such as water skiing, high ropes course, diving, mini golf, leisure pool etc. are offered within 10 km. Karl May festival in Bad Segeberg ist about 35 minutes away by car.
Getting there
Coming from the south on the A1, take the exit Scharbeutz/Pönitz.
At the exit turn left towards Pönitz. Go straight for about 1.5 km until you see the Äschlimann plant nursery on the right. Take the right onto Dorfstrasse right behind the plant nursery. House No. 10 is the fourth house on the right.
Tip: Do not follow GPS, as there are several 'Dorfstrassen' in Scharbeutz.

Besser kann ein Urlaub mit der ganzen Familie nicht sein. Mit 8 bis 14 Personen (am Tag der Geburtstagsfeier) waren wir hier super zufrieden. Das Haus liegt zwar nicht an der Ostsee, bietet aber tolle Landschaft für Spaziergänge....und zum Meer ist es auch nur ein Katzensprung mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto. Top!

Mir und meinen Freunden hat das Haus sehr gut gefallen. Es ist hochwertig eingerichtet, in der Küche fehlt wirklich nichts, es ist ganz viel Geschirr vorhanden, zwei Backöfen, zwei Herdplatten, zwei Geschirrspüler, zwei Kühlschränke usw.
Die Bade- und Schlafzimmer sind mit Mobiliar aus Naturholz.
Toller Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten und kleinen Badeteich, bei besserem Wetter hätten wir ihn sicherlich genutzt.
Kommunikation und Check in/out problemlos.
Wir hatten auch bei schlechtem Wetter genügend Platz um uns zu beschäftigen und zu erholen.
Definitiv empfehlen wir dieses Haus weiter und kommen evtl. als Gruppe nochmal wieder.
