There are many activities to be done on the water: swimming, boat rides, fishing, ice scating in winter and many more. In the area there is also a big bathing lake “Geestmerambacht” with children’s swimming area. The North Sea and the Liselmeer is not far away. Hiking and biking on the dunes is also worth mentioning. Golf courses in the mountains (6km) and in Dirkshorn (6km).
Holiday destination
Broek op Langedijk has a straight-line distance of 8 km to the North Sea. With the bike it 12 km away and 15km with the car.
In the neighborhood you can find several bathing areas such as Schoorl, Bergen.Egmond, Camperduin and many more.
In spring, tulips and flower fields are easily to reach by car or by bike. There are some nice hiking areas in the neighborhood.
In Broek op Lagedijk is the oldest auction place in Europe. Vegetables were auctioned on boats. Today it is a museum. There are many museums in the area; Poldermuseum, old mills and many other places of interest. In the area there are many old town, which can be visited such as the Cheese market in Alkmaar.
Amsterdam is only 45km away.
In the nature reserve you can go for a ride with the boat, fishing (luce, eel, roach, zander), swimming, bird watching and many more

Wir waren eine Woche im Apartment am Wasser und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Apartment ist gemütlich und hell und der Ausblick vom Balkon ist ein Traum. Ein Einkaufszentrum ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar, sodass man sich problemlos selbst versorgen kann. Aber auch kulinarisch ist der Ort abwechslungsreich. Der Nordseestrand ist nicht zu weit weg und war relativ leer.
Leider haben wir uns erst am dritten Tag getraut, das zur Wohnung gehörende Boot zu nutzen. Die abendlichen Runden im Reich der 1000 Inseln waren Entspannung pur. Eine Viertelstunde fußläufig ist ein Fahrradverleih, und so konnten wir auch sehr schöne Fahrradtouren unternehmen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich, so dass wir uns rundum richtig wohl gefühlt haben. Viel zu schnell waren die 7 Tage vorbei!

Hallo,
mein bester Kumpel und ich sind schon das 2 mal zu Besuch bei Gerrit und Corrie gewesen. Es ist sehr schön das die beiden jederzeit vor Ort sind und man sie bei Fragen aufsuchen kann. Sie sind jederzeit Hilfsbereit.
Wenn man entspannen möchte genau richtig, wir haben unsere Chance genutzt und sind mit dem Boot gefahren. Die ganzen Flussverbindungen und Verzweigungen sind wunderschön. Es ist ein gutes Hecht und Zander Gewässer also auch für Angler ein Top Urlaubsort. Angelkarten gibt es direkt vor Ort.
Wir werden auch nicht das letzte mal dort gewesen sein, ein so friedlichen Urlaubsort besuchen wir gerne wieder.
