Bergen is both a municipality and a town in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. Its North Sea beaches make it a popular destination for tourists, especially Germans. Since about 1900, Bergen has been the home of many painters, writers and architects. Some of the work of this "Bergen School" is on exhibit at Museum Kranenburgh.
North of the town of Bergen are the Schoorlse Duinen, a nature area with the highest and widest dunes of the Netherlands.

Op Stok ist eine sehr schöne und saubere Ferienwohnung in traumhafter Lage. Alle naheliegenden Orte wie Bergen, Schoorl, Egmond und Alkmaar lassen sich bestens mit dem Fahrrad erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet, Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Föhn, Kaffemaschine, Toaster etc. Auch ein abschließbarer Schuppen für Fahrräder ist vorhanden. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war bestens, sie sind freundlich, zuverlässig und hilfsbereit. Ich kann diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Das kleine Ferienhaus Op Stok ist wirklich wunderschön, gemütlich und ruhig im Grünen am Ortsrand von Bergen gelegen. Freundliche und sehr herzliche Begrüßung und Betreuung durch den Vermieter. Bergen und auch Alkmaar sind gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist ein guter Startpunkt für Radtouren in die Dünengebiete und die umliegenden Orte. Bergen selbst hat eine gute und reichliche Auswahl an Geschäften und Gastronomie zu bieten. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaubsort, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
