Holiday destination
Our village Katzweiler is situated very idyllically. There are a lot of hills and woodlands also called palatinate Tuscan.
In Katzweiler there lived 1800 peoples. There are a lot of posibilities to do: bicycle and hiking trails, horseback riding and fishing.But last not least the wonderful landscape to visite.
Special leisure facilities in our village are horse range, fish farming, open air theatre, beauty farm and in the surrounding area there is a museum of motorcycle and a football stadium.

On the direction of Mannheim and Saarbrücken via A6:
Departure Kaiserslautern West, B270 direction Otterbach, Lauterecken, after 2 km you have to drive right direction Lauterecken; there is a traffic circle, then direction Lauterecken. First you will drive through Sambach, the next village is Katzweiler. On the end of Katzweiler there is a filling station and vis-a-vis there is the Friedenstraße; after 200m there is a blue house, the vacancy appartment.

Host informationWe are a family with 4 Persons and a dog. In the year 2005 we renovated our house on an organic view and take a lot of care with the wooden parquet floor and the partions (are worked with special coulours).

Von Beginn an haben wir uns in der liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung sehr wohlgefühlt. Dank der Pfalz Card und der guten Anbindung von Katzweiler an den Nahverkehr konnten wir das Auto stehen lassen und mit Bus und Bahn zahreiche Touren unternehmen. Mal direkt in das nahe Kaiserslautern (japanischer Garten), mal in weiter entfernte Städte der Pfalz, wie z. B. Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Pirmasens und Speyer. Kleinere Wanderungen gingen sofort ab Katzweiler (Mühlenrundwanderweg), für größere braucht man nur ein paar Stationen mit Bus oder Bahn fahren (z.B. Teufelstour). Das milde Sommerwetter lud dazu ein, viel unterwges zu sein und sich Touren auf den zahlreichen Wanderwegen selbst zusammenzustellen. Es gibt noch viel mehr zu entdecken. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter.
FeWo: sauber, hell, baubiologisch renoviert, alles vorhanden was wir brauchten,
Katzweiler: Bahnstation, Netto - SBmarkt.
Pfalz-card gratis und sehr empfehlenswert.
Pfalz: eine wunderbare Natur; wir waren mit Zug und Bikes da - läuft gut.
