Located at Klaproosweg 411, the center of Ballum is a 10-minute walk away and the beach about a 25-minute walk.
Close by is a forest (5 minutes walking) and a nature reserve, which is suitable for short walks (especially with a dog).
The neighboring towns of Hollum and Nes are easily accessible by bike on beautiful bike paths through the dunes.
Getting there
By car:
The journey is made via the car ferry from Holwerd.
It is definitely advisable to book the ferry well in advance for a car.
One can also park the car at the ferry dock and travel to the holiday apartment on the island by bike, bus, or taxi. However, the island is so large that it is worth bringing the car onto the island.

Wir sind schon sehr oft auf Ameland gewesen, aber dies war das absolut beste Ferienhaus in dem wir je gewohnt haben. Ausstattung und Zustand sind TOP!!!!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch weil die Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit waren. Das Haus lädt einen zum Erholen regelrecht ein und die Zeit ist leider wie im Flug vergangen. Wir werden diese Immobilie auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Leider können wir nur fünf Sterne vergeben, verdient wären mehr. Herzlichen Dank liebe Familie van Noord für traumhafte zwei Wochen auf Ameland.

Wir, zwei Erwachsene, durften unseren Urlaub in diesem sehr schönen Haus verbringen. Bei der Anreise war das Haus sehr, sehr sauber und alles in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und ausgestattet mit allem was zu einem gelungenen Urlaub beiträgt. Die Terrasse ist einfach und zweckmäßig. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen.
