Holiday destination
For village guests there is a well-maintained swimming pool and tennis court. The bathing river with waterfall is a 15-minute walk away, the sea 30 minutes by car. the vineyards for hiking and the Montagne Alaric for climbing are right on the doorstep and the pyrännees not far away. in the amphitheatre in the old chateau by the village well you can experience unforgettable concerts or "spectacles" in the summer months.
Places of interest in the surrounding area: the Cathar castles, Carcassonne fortress, Fontfroide monastery, Canal du midi, caves, Roman settlements, grottos, Lagrasse with its abbey from the time of Charlemagne, Dali museum in Figueras ... every year we discover something new!
Getting there
The most scenic route is via the motorway: coming from spain or germany, take the motorway junction at narbonne in the direction of toulouse and take the first exit Lezignan (the same exit if you are coming from toulouse/carcassonne), then turn left via fabrezan and right to Camplong. The winding avenue of plane trees leads you past the cave kooperative (centre of red wine in the corbieres) into the village. after 50 m you will come to the ancien café. to the left of it is the small street "rue de l'ancien café". On the right, the garden gate/soft door is open.
Voila, you are there . now relax!

Das Ancien Cafe ist ein wunderschöner Platz um seinen Urlaub zu beginnen. Das Haus ist sauber und mit allem eingerichtet was man benötigt. Der Innenhof ist ein toller Ort für ein Frühstück in der Sonne oder einen tollen Wein am Abend. Die Vermieter sind super nett und haben tolle Tipps für Ausflüge, Märkte, Strände oder Restaurants. Camplong ist ein kleiner verschlafener Ort an dem man wunderbar entspannen kann und von dem aus man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreicht. Wir waren begeistert von der schönen Gegend zum Wandern/Mountainbiken und Schwimmen und den schönen alten Städten. Leider war die Zeit viel zu kurz und wir freuen uns schon einmal wiederzukommen.

Bisher zwei Mal haben wir das schöne, entspannte Ambiente mit zwei Familien in wechselnder Besetzung und unterschiedlichem Alter genossen - wer keinen Urlaub "von der Stange" will, sondern erholsame Tage in wunderbarer Umgebung verbringen, der ist hier genau richtig!
