You can play tennis in Massa Marittima (5km) or at the Golf Club Toscana/Pelagone (14km), among other places. Climbing the mountain Le Cornate near Gerfalco (about 20km) is recommended, as well as visiting the numerous thermal springs (such as Saturnia and Petriolo, Venturina).
Holiday destination
The house is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany near the sea, close to the town of Massa Marittima. In Massa Marittima (5km away), there are many events such as historical weapon games, operas, and open-air concerts, as well as restaurants and attractive shops. Beautiful swimming spots can be found in Follonica, Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia, or in the Bay of Baratti. The Lago dell’ Accessa is 7 km away.

Zu erst denkt man, man fährt igendwo in den Busch, dann aber oben an dem Plateau angekommen hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht mit einem netten Haus vor Augen. Frau Riha, die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, sorgsam aber nicht aufdringlich, so wie es sein muss.
Wir fuhren fast jeden Tag an einen anderen Strand, was den Kindern sehr gut gefallen hat. Am Abend freuten sich alle noch auf der Terrasse ruhig etwas zu spielen. Das Haus eignet sich sehr gut für Tagesausflüge, z.B. Massa marittima, Siena, Strand oder noch viele andere.
In den nächsten Orten kann man sehr gut, günstig und original Essen gehen. Hier hatte uns Frau Riha sehr gute Restaurants empfohlen.
Alles in allem, ein Urlaub wie er uns allen gefallen hat.

Wir haben hier eine wunderbare Zeit im Winter verbracht.
Die Ferienwohnung ist gut und gemütlich ausgestattet. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten, um uns wohlzufühlen. Das Haus liegt wunderschön, in Alleinlage auf einem bewaldeten Hügel mit einem traumhaften Rundblick bis zum Meer. Von dem Sonnenhügel konnten wir die Inseln sehen und am Abend eine schöne Abendstimmung genießen.
Das historische Massa Marittima ist ein interessanter Ort, mit Geschäften, Restaurants und einem Espresso auf der Piazza, wunderbar!
Die Gegend lädt zum Wandern ein, auch das Meer und der See Accesa sind nicht weit. Kulturreiche Orte im Hinterland, die sehenswerten Stätten der Etrusker und gute Weingüter der Maremma haben wir entdeckt.
Wir können Casa Benefei sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank an die netten, freundlichen Gastgeber.
