Holiday destination
The house is also located at an excellent starting point to many interesting walking tours around. You can enjoy a walk of about 45 min over a hill to the Preveli monastery, to Preveli palm beach or plenty of other treks along the aqueducts and fields surrounding the village. The nearest supermarket and taverns you will find in the village of Lefkogia, which is ca 1,5 km away from the Gianniou house. The nearest beach is the beach of Skinaria, ca 4,5 km away.

Wir haben zu dritt das gemütliche Ferienhaus von Adonis bewohnt. Aufwachen mit Ziegenglocken, Aussicht auf die tollen Berge Südkretas! Das Haus steht in einem kleinen Bergdorf mit wenig Tourismus und netten Bewohnern. Zur nächsten Stadt mit Strand, Supermarkt, Promenade und Tavernen sind es nur 10Autominuten. Auch andere Strände erreicht man in kurzer Zeit. Das Kloster Preveli, auf der anderen Seite der Berge, ist einen Ausflug wert. Genauso die Altstadt in Rethymno und die Samaria-Schlucht. Der Kontakt mit Adonis war vorher, während und nach dem Urlaub einfach herzlich. Selten hat man solche Vermieter. Vielen Dank für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub lieber Adonis :)

Etwas verborgen, in einem Ort mit 30 Einwohnern und doch in der Nähe von traumhaften Stränden und wunderbaren, familiengeführten Restaurants mit frisch gefangenem Fisch und lieben Gastgebern liegt das Haus vom Anso Adonis. Ein sehr altes kritisches Haus das mit viel Liebe renoviert wurde aber den Charme seiner Geschichte bewahrt hat. Der kleine Ort, dieses Haus die wenigen Bewohner, die uns immer freundlich begrüßt und verabschiedet hatten, als wir den Ort für unsere Ausflüge verließen oder zurückkehrten, all das, hat sich tief in unserem Gedächtnis vergraben und wir erinnern uns noch lange nach unserem Urlaub an diesen wunderbaren Ort. Adonis ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber und hat die besten Tips für einen abwechslungsreichen Urlaub auf Kreta. Thank you Natallia, Friedrich und Nicolai
