Holiday destination

Egmond aan Zee is a small nice family village with 6000 habitants. There is more than a 12 miles long beach and dunes on both sides of the National Park. The city of Alkmaar lies 6 miles to the east. In Alkmaar you can visit the famous Cheese Market and some interesting museums. The cities of Amsterdam and Haarlem lies 40 minutes by car from Egmond aan Zee. Also a one-day trip to the Island of Texel. Also it is nice to visit 'The Zaanse Schans'.
