Holiday destination
The town of Hüttschlag is 4.5 km away. This is where you can find shops and a bank. The skiing area of Grossarl-Dorfgastein with 80 km of pistes for every kind of Alpine skiing or snowboarding fun, and state-of-the-art lift installations is only a 15-minute drive (approx. 14 km) away. The cross-country skiing track runs right past us. You can go tobogganing near the cabin. In the summer, you can go hiking and mountaineering in the Grossarltal with 40 active hill-top farms. Mountain-bike tours, bathing opportunities in Grossarl, fishing and fly fishing. Eisriesenwelt Werfen (approx. 25km) and Burg Hohenwerfen, Lichtensteinklamm apprx. 30 km. The Mozart city of Salzburg is approx. 80 km away.
Getting there
A10 Tauernautobahn exit Bischofshofen via St.Johann im Pongau to Großarl. Continue towards
Hüttschlag, from the town of Hüttschlag continue for 4.5 km to Talschluß. Once there, take a left via the bridge, and you will find Hinteraschauhütte after approx. 100m.

Host informationWe live in the farm house 50 m away, where my parents and my grandfather live, i.e. 4 generations in one house. Together with my wife Erika, I manage the small farm with cattle, 2 horses, goats etc. We offer rides in a horse-drawn carriage

Wir waren als Tourengeher vom Alpenverein hier. Uns hat es super gefallen, tolle Sauna, in der Hütte ist alles da was man braucht.
