Because of the short distance to the tourist centres of the east coast with their excellent infrastructure and the manifold offers for water sports and other leisure activities we can promise ramblers and mountaineers as well as beach tourists an enjoyable holiday.
Holiday destination
The historic area of the Castaniccia, which is famous for its great amount of chestnut trees, offers its visitors from march till december unlimited possibilities of walking up to a height of about 1800 m. The coastal area with thousands of metres of sandy beaches, a great variety of opportunities for shopping and splendid touristy infrastructure can be reached within aprox. 15 minutes by car.
Just in front of the house is the beginning of the botanic trail which informs about a great variety of Corsican plants within 1.5 hrs and passes historic monuments as well as some of the most beautiful places of the Costa Verde. In the village you can buy traditionally produced Corsican cheese from the shepherd, do guided horse riding tours or try your canyoning skills.
Getting there
Our flats are in short distance from the international airport Bastia-Poretta or from the ferry terminal Bastia (see table aside). Please note that it is essential to have your own car or a hire car. You find a lot of car rental firms at the airport.

Hallo,
wir waren als Familie mit drei Kindern (8, 4 und 2 Jahre) drei Wochen zu Gast und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Es ist ein altes klassisches korsisches Haus welches sehr liebvoll und schön renoviert ist. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastfreundschaft und das Frühstück, ebenso haben wir die Gartennutzung inkl. Grill sehr genossen.
Zum Strand sind es 25min. urige Fahrt mit dem Auto. Vor Ort lassen sich direkt verschiedene Wanderungen starten und auch zu Wasserfällen und einem Eselverleih ist es nicht weit.
Bedanken möchten wir uns ganz herzlich bei Frau und Herrn Droste - wir kommen bestimmt gerne wieder, wenn die Kinder etwas größer sind und es somit wieder etwas Neues ist. Wenn es nach den Kindern geht schon nächsten Sommer ;-).

Wir waren sehr gespannt auf unseren ersten Urlaub auf Korsika. Die Urlaubswohnung liegt in einem ruhigen, etwas abgelegem Dorf, nur wenige Fahrminuten zum Meer. Dieser Teil Korsikas ist ein wunderbarer Mix aus Baden, Wandern und unberührter, urwüchsiger Natur, weitab vom Lärm und Trubel, ideal zum entspannen . Bei unserer Ankunft trafen wir auf eine sehr nette und unkomplizierte Vermieterin . Am zweiten Tag haben wir gleich die Kochkünste von Diana in Anspruch genommen , und spitzenmäßig ! Diana gab uns gute Tipps für Unternehmungen ,wir wurden zu Freunden und veliebten uns in Korsika und werden auf jeden Fall zu ihr wiederkommen.Liebe Diana, wir danken dir für diesen wunderschön Urlaub in den Bergen , mit Blick aufs Meer.
