Holiday destination
Today's vacationer loves variety, and that's exactly what you'll find in Egmond: The former fishing village with its cozy beach, street cafes, and shops, is located right behind the dunes and boasts a 5 km long beach with pavilions, sailing and catamaran center, bicycle storage, and parking.
The beach is also accessible for the physically challenged. The van Speyk lighthouse is open for visits at certain times.
Getting there
By car from Amsterdam via A9:
Take exit 10-Castricum and follow the N203/N8 towards Uitgeest. Continue on the N203. After 6.2 km, turn left onto Zeeweg/N513. After 2.4 km, at the roundabout take the first exit onto Heereweg. At the first traffic light (after 6.5 km) turn left onto Heiloöer Zeeweg. At the next traffic light go straight ahead, and at the following traffic light, turn left into Voorstraat, towards the center.
After 500 meters, turn left onto Prins Hendrikstraat. Continue on Admiraal de Ruyterweg to Zeeweg. Then after 350 meters, turn left onto Kennedyboulevard.
You have reached your destination, Kennedyboulevard 134.
