Other recreational opportunities
In summer: Located directly on the hiking and walking trails, visits to alpine dairies, ideal starting point for excursions in the Allgäu and for day trips to nearby Austria, Lake Constance and Switzerland.
In winter: Toboggan run, snowshoe hiking, ski tours, carriage rides from the house, cross-country skiing trail, ski lifts and ski schools all in the immediate vicinity.
Holiday destination
A big advantage of the holiday apartments is the uniquely beautiful, very quiet southern location on approx. 1.100 m elevation away from the traffic in the small mountain village Balderschwang im Allgäu. Enjoy a fantastic, unobstructed view over the whole valley up to the Austrian and Swiss Alps.
Restaurants as well as hiking trails and cross-country skiing trails, the ski lifts, ski school and ski kindergarten are nearby.
Getting there
Coming from the Riedbergpass our house is approx. 400 m before the village centre (church) of Balderschwang, on the right side of the slope and is clearly visible from the road.
It is around 400 m before the town centre, after the recycling containers turn right directly at the street, turn right into the side street. After approx. in 200 m you have arrived at your destination. The Alpenrösle is the last house directly at the turning circle.
In winter, when snow chains are compulsory on the Riedberg Pass, it is advisable to travel from Austria. In Immenstadt, leave the autobahn and drive in the direction of Alpsee/Oberstaufen. In Oberstaufen direction Hittisau (Austria)-Balderschwang. The Alpenrösle is located in Balderschwang, about 400 m after the village centre (church) on the left side.

Sehr schöne 3Zi Ferienwohnung direkt mit Zugang zum gepflegten Garten ( wir reisten mit Hund) ; Ruhige Lage mit toller Aussicht Frühstücken in der Sonne, Brötchenservice im Angebot, Ideenheft zum Wandern in der Wohnung. = super freundliche Gastgeberin.
Wir werden sicherlich Wiederkommen, denn es gibt noch einiges zum Entdecken und sicherlich auch im Schnee ein tolles Erlebnis

Gepflegte, sehr saubere Wohnung. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! War leider viel zu kurz.
