Cannobio is a lively town (approx. 5,300 inhabitants) and one of the most important tourist centers on the lake.
The picturesque place is of very ancient origin, whose history is reflected in the "Palazzi" of different eras.
The beautiful lakeside promenade with the old harbor and its multitude of shops, restaurants, and cafes invites you to linger and relax. Particularly attractive is the public beach with its spacious sunbathing lawn (grass and sand), where you can find shade under the trees in the summer; this beach is especially suitable for children.
Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy the opportunity to rent a variety of water sports equipment: surfboards, motorboats, pedal boats, etc.
