Cancellation policy
If the tenant cancels the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract under the same conditions, the following prorated rents (excluding cleaning) are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, provided that re-renting is not possible:
Cancellation
up to 42 days before the start of the rental period 30% of the rental price
up to 21 days before the start of the rental period 60% of the rental price
up to 14 days before the start of the rental period 90% of the rental price
less than 14 days before the start of the rental period 100% of the rental price.
The landlord will attempt to re-rent the property.
The tenant can always prove that the damage incurred is less.
If the tenant terminates the stay early, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price.
A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The decisive date is the day the statement is received by the landlord.
Important: As long as there is no rental ban, there is no legal right to a free cancellation.
Nevertheless, it is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance to be covered in case of sudden illness.

Holiday destination
Schoorl is located near the 'Schoorlse Duinen' National Park. This is the widest and most diverse natural area along the Dutch coast, featuring beautiful hiking trails and bicycle paths that weave through the dunes and heathlands.
In the cozy holiday village of Schoorl, there are several restaurants and cafes, as well as shopping facilities for daily needs including a doctor and pharmacy.
The bungalow park Geestmerambacht is situated in Schoorldam, a small village next to Schoorl. These two villages are separated by the North Holland Canal.
Getting there
You can reach the bungalow park "Geestmerambacht" Schoorldam/Warmenhuizen via the A9 motorway from Amsterdam to the "Den Helder" exit (Alkmaar). At the subsequent roundabout, follow the N9 towards Den Helder. After about 14 km, you will be at the height of Schoorl (viaduct/roundabout). Here, follow the course of the road, leave the N9 towards Warmenhuizen/Koedijk and cross the North Holland Canal over the white drawbridge. After about 200m, turn left at the intersection onto Westfriesedijk. After about 1 km, on the left side of the road, you will find the reception of the bungalow park. Pass this by and enter the bungalow park about 200m further on the left.

Frau Bauer-Löchte ist super nett und sehr um ihre Gäste bemüht. In dem Haus fehlt es an nichts. Jeden Morgen haben wir unseren ersten Kaffee in der gemütlichen Sitzecke vor dem Haus genießen können. Im Nachmittag gab es diese Gelegenheit genauso hinter dem Haus. Dieses Haus und die Vermieterin sind sehr zu empfehlen!
Die Umgebung dort ist auch wirklich toll und es gibt viel zu sehen.
