Holiday destination
You can reach the watt within a couple minutes, while the beach is only 20 minutes away from the house. Bakeries, Restaurants, Art galleries and other stores are within walking distance. The historic town of Nebel, with its thatched houses, the church and its famous naval cemetery and the local historic mill, is the most scenic place on the island. It's the perfect place to enjoy the traditional island life.
Getting there
The island can only be reach via ferry from the jetty Dagebühl. National trains from Flensburg or Hamburg arrive multiple time during the day. If traveling by car it is advised to pre-book your ticket at https://www.faehre.de/sprachen/english/welcome/ . Local buses depart every 20 minutes from the jetty Amrum, which can take to every important destination on the island. The closest bus stop is called "Nebel Mitte", located only 400m from our house. You can find the time table at https://www.faehre.de/fahrplaene/download-busfahrplaene/ Cabs are available all over the island.

Wir hatten wunderschöne zwei Wochen im Amrum House. Das Haus ist so liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet wie ein Zuhause. Es gibt viele Spiele und Bücher für verregnete Tage, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, die zum Kochen einlädt und einen wunderschönen blühenden Garten mit Strandkorb. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist toll gelegen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es ums Eck und zum Strand sind es nur wenig Minuten. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, bei unserer Ankunft war alles sehr sauber und einladend. Insgesamt ein tolles Ferienhaus mit hochwertiger Ausstattung - wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder! Vielen Dank!

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön, allerdings passen die recht unbequemen ledermöbel nicht so recht zur friesischen Gemütlichkeit. Zu dem Preis hätte ich auch gerne richtige duschhandtücher gehabt und von der Größe auch nicht nur 1 für die Woche. Wir haben schon in Nebel gewohnt und hatten einen Schrank voll Handtücher zur Verfügung. Sonst war alles super.
