Holiday destination
Very quiet and sunny location at 675 m above sea level on the southern slope of the Buchberg. Distance from Mattsee with shops and bathing opportunities around 5 km. Mattsee Castle, Monastery Museum, wine cellar with wines from the vineyards of Lower Austria. 6000m² herb garden with lots of precious healing herbs at "Hildegard-Naturhaus", professional advice in all matters of health.
Great garden shed for around 13 people, with a nice and sunny terrace for parties or for cosy barbecue evenings.
Getting there
A1 western motorway exit Salzburg Nord towards Trummer Seenland-Lengfelden-Elixhausen-Obertrum towards Mattsee. In the village of "Außerhof" (around 600-700 metres after the second roundabout in Obertrum) take a sharp turn right towards Naturpark Buchberg (signposted!). In the village of "Bodenstätt" continue straight at the intersection, then you will reach the town of "Hiab". Here continue straight on until you reach a small group of trees with a pond. Take a left here, and drive up around 300 metres, and there you are. You have reached "Hansenbauer" at Obermayrhof 1. Welcome!

Host informationWe, Monika and Franz Strasser from "Hansenbauer" have been renting out this farm house, which was newly built in 1998, since the year 2000. The house is made of solid wood from the 1st floor up, where our holiday flats are. We work hard to give our guests a beautiful and relaxing holiday.

Wir waren letzten Sommer mit unseren beiden Mädels auf dem Hof von Familie Strasser. Die Wohnung war für uns perfekt, sehr ordentlich und mit allem ausgestattet was das Herz begehrt. Die Vermieter sind so wunderbar herzlich und der Hof lädt zum entspannen ein.
Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und abwechslungsreich was Ausflüge oder Entspannung am See betrifft.
Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Familie Strasser sind sehr freundliche Vermieter. Wir hatten eine saubere und schöne Ferienwohnung + Zimmer und eine atemberaubene Aussicht. Käse und Wurst von den kleinen Zicklein war super lecker.
