Holiday destination
Just a stone's throw away (about 300 meters), you'll find a kilometers-long southwest-facing sandy beach.
A small inland lake with a grove right next to the complex provides an idyllic setting for walks. For longer hikes and bike rides, the whole of Walcheren is at your disposal.
The dune belt surrounding the peninsula offers wonderful views over the countryside. Inland, picturesque villages, expansive fields, nature reserves, avenues, and small woods, as well as numerous cycling paths, are all waiting to be discovered.
Getting there
By car, you can reach Vlissingen via Eindhoven/Tilburg/Breda or via Antwerp (in Antwerp, first follow the sign "Breda" and then, as soon as it appears, "Bergen op Zoom"; this highway then merges into the A58) along the A58. From here, follow the road towards Zoutelande/Westkapelle. About 3.5 km past the exit of Zoutelande, and before Westkapelle (immediately before the lake on the left, which is only visible in daylight), you'll find a sign "App. Zuiderstrand". Turn left here. Just past the hotel "Kaap West" appearing on the left after about 100 m, turn right into the Vikingpark complex. The apartment is the second one on the top in the block on the left. Parking space number 4 is on the right.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Ferienwohnung. Zum wunderschönen Strand ist es nur ein Katzensprung und in der Wohnung findet sich alles, was man braucht.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr, sehr nett und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war perfekt. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter.

Der Urlaub in diesem Appartement war Erholung pur. Die Aufteilung der Wohnung sehr gelungen. Es war alles da, was man benötigt, SW-Balkon schön für die Abendstunden, absolute Nachtruhe, der Strand fußläufig, Supermarkt, E-bike-Verleih nebenan... Die Wohnung war sauber und der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin sehr zuvorkommend. Ich komme gerne wieder!
