Description
Enjoy your stay amidst Europe's largest park, the 'Bergpark', and unwind and regenerate at the apartment "Am Bergpark".
Travelling city dwellers almost feel like home here and are welcome to stay one night, a few days or...
Special features
The apartment is located in a lovingly renovated half-timbered house in a quiet yet central location close to town. The private sunbathing lawn with garden furniture and grill is perfect for relaxing after an eventful day.
Several beautiful hiking and cycling paths start practically on your doorstep. A 18-hole golf course is only 800m away. The Kurhessen Therme (thermal bath), a public swimming pool and a miniature golf course can be reached by car within a few minutes.
Holiday destination
Located in North Hesse, Kassel is known for its museums and hosting the 'documenta' exhibition; but it also offers plenty of possibilities to combine nature, culture and recreation.
Europe's largest park, the 'Bergpark' with the Hercules monument -Kassel's landmark-, the Löwenburg and Schloss Wilhelmshöhe are just a short walk away.
A very scenic 18-hole golf course is also located in the immediate vicinity.
Getting there
Take the A7 towards Dortmund, then the A44, exit Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe; follow the road for approx. 3 km, then turn left onto Elgershäuserstr.;
at the end of the street, turn left onto 'Im Druseltal', after approx. 700m, you'll see your destination on the left.

Was very pleased with the apartment. Perfect size for two people that can live a little snug. Great location just outside the city. About a 1 minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to get the Kassel Card from the tourist office if you plan on using the bus/tram and visit museums. Hiking and mountain biking trails are right outside that take you to the Hercules monument or the Lowenburg Caste. Wonderful city with many museums to visit. Only disappointment was the trash and overall condition of the gardens. There was a lot of trash in the yard and spread around the driveway. It should have been kept up a little nicer. Owner speaks great english and that helped a lot. We would stay here again.
