The beautiful Peratallada is arguably the most spectacular of all the little inland villages, several kilometres from the Costa Brava. Together with Pals and Palau Sator, it is a part of the so-called "golden triangle", a number of medieval villages. Peratallada is situated on a mountaintop with a stunning view over the entire region.
