Kalkan is a picturesque coastal town on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, located about 27 km west of Kaş in the Antalya province. With a population of around 3,926 (as of 2022), Kalkan has transformed from a traditional fishing village into a popular tourist destination. The town is known for its whitewashed houses cascading down towards the sea and the vibrant bougainvillea that adorn its streets. Visitors can explore historical sites like Tlos and Kekova, as well as stunning beaches such as Patara Beach and Kaputas Beach. Getting there

The best way to reach Kalkan is via Dalaman Airport (approximately 120 km away) or alternatively via Antalya Airport (about 210 km away). You can get to Kalkan from both airports. The drive from Dalaman takes around 1.5 hours. Renting a car is recommended if you want to explore the area flexibly during your stay.
