Other recreational opportunities
Trips to the "Halligwelt" of the North Sea may be booked in Dagebüll or Schlüttsiel. Bikes can directly be ordered by us, just ask for prices. The striking distance of the sea just speaks for itself, swimming and sun bathing are almost obligatory. Or even walk on the ground of the sea...but wait until the water is gone. :-)
Holiday destination
The numerous quiet country roads and small field roads around invite you to long tours on bikes or by foot along the North Sea over dikes and sluices. About 1 km away the World Heritage natural site starts and awaits your exploration.
Trips along to the so called "Halligen" (undiked and very small islands in the sea with a single house or even very small amount of houses - sing. is "Hallig") of the North Sea may be booked in the villages Dagebüll or Schlüttsiel. The fish offered by the restaurants around the corner jumps directly from the sea to your plate. Husum and Niebüll can be reached by car in no-time and offer a lot of possibilities for you to get information, get some coffee & cake and several activities.
Getting there
If you're coming from the town Bredstedt you have to drive north. Directly behind the town sign there's a road going to the left to Dagebüll, Schlüttsiel and also Ockholm. Here you have to turn in. Coming along the villages Bordelum, Uphusum, Ebüll and Sterdebüll you just have to keep on the road until you get to Ockhom (about 10 km at all). Driving through the town on the left side is a small petrol station and a few meters later there's a road going to the right called "Dorfstraße". Turn right and about 200m later you'll arrive at the "Ferienwarft Elisabeth".

Unterkunft ist o.k., es ist alles, was gebraucht wird vorhanden. Besonders angenehm ist die Zentralheizung, da es bei unserem Urlaub noch recht kalt war. Schade ist nur, dass es keine Sandstrände in der Nähe gibt.

Im Mai/Juni 2020 haben wir 14 Tage in der wunderschönen und gemütlichen Ferienwarft verbracht. Wer Ruhe sucht und dennoch mit dem Fahrrad und/oder Auto bisweilen Abwechselung in der Umgebung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. In der gemütlichen Sitzecke im Garten kann man den Tag mit einem guten Frühstück beginnen und auf der sonnigen Rasenfläche beim Blöken der Schafe herrlich relaxen. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet wirklich alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Der richtige Ort, um Abstand vom manchmal hektischen Alltag zu bekommen.
