Holiday destination
The island Fehmarn is located between the "Kiel"-Bay and the "Lübeck"-Bay. From here you can start to visit Denmark (1 hour by ferry), the south of Sweden (~ 2,5 hours) or Hamburg (~1 hour). The largest town on the island is Burg. It is a nice, small village with lots of shops and restaurants. An 18 hole Golf course is available as well on the island. Some museums are also around, e.g. the "Seacenter" or the new submarine museum. You can go fishing, swimming, horse riding or dive. Fehmarn offers a big variety of leisure activities.

Die Ferienwohnung in der Strandburg ist gemütlich und recht hochwertig eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Die kleine Küche ist mit hochwertigen gut funktionierenden Elektrogeräten ausgestattet und auch sonst wurde an nahezu alles gedacht. Lediglich eine Auflaufform und ein Nudelholz haben wir vermisst. Auch im Dezember war es in der Wohnung gemütlich warm und hat auch bei kaltem Wind nirgends gezogen. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist ein Traum: direkt am tollen Sandstrand und gleich im Nebengebäude der Bäcker mit leckeren Brötchen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und gut erholt.
