If you cancel the booking after 40 days before arrival, we will have the right to retain the Initial Deposit and the Settlement.
Bookings are received many months on forehand, so we may not be able to replace your booking.
In case we do find a replacement, we will give you the settlement amount back.

Inside the castle's "borgo" (a complex formed by the building with tower, a church, houses formely used as a court, granaries, archives, rice mill, artisans' house, guards' houses, a beautiful park and rivers) there are only 3 quiet holiday homes, each with private gardens
Outside there's a small rural village with little supermarket, hairdresser, post office and a few restaurants.
Around there's a lovely countryside, vineyards and the seaside, which influences the weather, is nearby.

Zusammen mit unserer jungen Retrieverhündin durften wir einen ruhigen Urlaub geniessen. Die Lage mit der Nähe zu Udine, Aquileia und zum Meer ist sehr gut. Etwas vermisst haben wir einen eigentlichen (lebhaften) Dorfkern oder Fusswege abseits der Autostrassen. Die Ferienwohnung ist stilgerecht renoviert; bei Regenwetter halt recht kühl. Das historische Burgareal fasziniert und es scheint, dass die Zeit stehen geblieben ist. Toll ist der alte Park - und dass ein grosszügiger Garten zum Ferienhaus zugeschieden wurde. Herzlichen Dank für das Vertrauen!

Nidia Olivo hat uns und unseren kleinen Hund sehr herzlich empfangen. Zur Begrüßung gab es neben Blumen und Prosecco u.a. ein hervorragendes selbstgebackenes Brot! Die Wohnung sowie die ganze Burganlage mit Garten ist einfach fantastisch und atmet das historische Flair.. Super die Austattung: Perfekte Heizung, schönes Mobiliar, moderne Küchengeräte, bequeme Betten und vor allem eine schöne Sitzecke, wie man sie in italienischen Ferienwohnungen nur selten findet! Ein feiner kleiner Supermarkt ist fußläufig zu erreichen, in den sogar der Hund mit rein durfte. Es gibt viel zu sehen und auch einen fast hauseigenen schönen Wanderweg! Frau Williams zeigte uns gerne auch die anderen Wohnungen...für demnächst!
Wir haben den Aufenthalt abseits des Massentourismus sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!
