    Holiday destination
    The holiday house Villetta Massimo is located near 'Cannero' in Trarego-Viggiona, only a few 100 mtrs above the Lake Maggiore and approx. 25km away from the border to Switzerland. Trarego-Viggiona offers very good public transport connections, there is a minibus from and to Cannero three times a day. There are boats from Cannero as well, going to Luino and Intra-Verbania or towards Switzerland. By foot, you can reach Trarego via the old street from Cannero-Piancassone or from Oggiognio - both being very beautiful historical hiking trails with marvellous views of the Lake Maggiore. Right from your doorstep you find numerous hiking trails and other leisure activities.
    Getting there
    From Germany you go via Basel through the Gotthard-Tunnel or via the Gotthard-Pass through Bellinzona to Brissago via the border from Switzerland to Italy. Here, you are already on the lakeside road of the Lake Maggiore, that leads you through Cannobio directly to Cannero. In Cannero take the first street to the right that goes to Trarego-Viggiona. Follow this road, passing Viggiona to Trarego. In Cheglio you have reached your destination.

    Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Villetta Massimo verbracht. Man kann direkt vom Haus aus loswandern, das Auto haben wir in den ersten drei Tagen nicht gebraucht. Kleine Einkäufe kann man bei Roberto erledigen, der einen sehr leckeren Schinken im Angebot hat. Super war für unsere Hunde auch das komplett eingezäunte Grundstück. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank für die tolle Woche!

    Das Haus, umgeben von viel Wald, herrlichem Blick auf den See, kurzer Gang zum morgendlichen Bäcker/Einksaufsladen "Roberto", war ideal für uns! Das"Waldzimmer"war ideal zum Schlafen, die anderen Schlafzimmer wunderschön eingerichtet, zum Träumen. Die Terrasse zum frühstücken, oder lunchen superklasse! Wir kommen gerne wieder,vielen Dank an euch!
