The small finca with pool is located in the mountain village of Galilea, which is often described as one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca. The location on a slope above the village is extremely charming. The furnishings are Mediterranean and functional.
The house has space for four people. An additional one or two children could also be readily accommodated. The large living/dining room has a fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen has an induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. From the spacious terrace with covered dining area, you have a wonderful view over the village and to the sea in the distance. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The “Casita”, a separate extension, is often used by creative people as an office or studio. Pine trees, eucalyptus, and rosemary grow around the house. There is another terrace at the swimming pool (3 × 8 m). There is fast fibre-optic Wi-Fi. Outside, you can grill on the Weber gas grill or on a charcoal grill. The house has air conditioning for the summer and heating for the winter.
You are truly in the mountains here. If you are particularly nervous about driving or have problems with mountain roads, this is not the place for you.

Galilea is a cosy mountain village characterised by old fieldstone buildings. It is far away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the coast. On the charming village square next to the church, you’ll find a delightful restaurant with a lovely terrace as well as an excellent pizzeria. The nearest shops are in Puigpunyent, which is 4 km away. In about 20 minutes, you can reach Palma, a diverse city with a special flair. It has a large old town with many nightlife options. There is also a modern university and a large port.
If you want to visit the sea, it takes about 20 minutes to get to Peguera from Galilea.
You will normally need a rental car, which is relatively inexpensive in Mallorca. The journey from the airport to Galilea takes just under 40 minutes. There is also a bus from Palma to Galilea. It currently runs eight times a day. If you would like to bring your own car, you can take a ferry from Barcelona to Palma. In summer, there is also a ferry from Toulon (near Marseille) to Alcudia.

I work in the film industry and live mostly in Berlin. I have known the mountain village of Galilea since my childhood. My parents built the house there sometime in the mid-sixties. I now manage it with my siblings, and it is still used occasionally by the family.
