Holiday destination
In the charming, unspoiled natural landscape of the Palatinate Forest invite magnificent mixed forest, a diverse animal and plant world and traditional History of the visitors. Esthal and the surrounding area has beautiful, approximately 150 km hiking trails as well as walkways. In addition the woodland offers a great area for mountain bikers. The Palatinate Forest in total offers approx. 900km of paths for mountain bike scouts (http://www.mountainbikepark-pfaelzerwald.de/mtb-park-pfaelzerwald/)
Getting there
From the A65 exit Neustadt an der Weinstrasse:
Through Neustadt direction Kaiserslautern, after Lambrecht direction Elmsteiner valley turn right and after the village pass Frankeneck, turn right and drive 5 km through the forest to Esthal.
At the entrance to the Village, take the first street on the right, before the first fork, continue on the left to Haus Kroschl, Michelsbergstr. 17Next to the house is the garage, which is open for you when you arrive.
Motorcyclists require a driving licence for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, which can be applied for free of charge from the Bad Dürkheim district administration

Wir haben uns bei den warmherzigen Eheleuten Kroschl sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Ferienwohnung jederzeit weiter, weil sie sehr sauber gepflegt und komfortabel ausgestattet ist. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.
Trotz Pandemie haben wir uns bei Ihnen stets sicher gefühlt. Wir haben nicht nur die vielen Brunnen besucht, sondern auch von der Terrasse aus den klaren Nachthimmel samt Milchstraße bestaunt.
In der Nachbarschaft und im Ort wurden wir immer sehr freundlich aufgenommen und deshalb freuen wir uns auch auf ein nächstes Wiedersehen in Esthal.
Vielen Dank auch für die sehr zuverlässigen Serviceleistungen.

Frau Kroschl hat uns in Lambrecht abgeholt, da wir ohne Auto anreisten. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Mit der Ausstattung war ich ebenfalls sehr zufrieden.
Die Lage ist idyllisch am Waldrand mit schönem Ausblick. An einem Samstagabend haben wir spontan beschlossen, am Sonntag einen Ausflug mit dem Kuckucksbähnel zu machen.
Auch hier fuhr uns Frau Kroschl an den Bahnhof, da der Bus erst später fuhr.
Für diesen tollen und zuverlässigen Service möchten wir uns ganz besonders bedanken. Wir haben viele lustige Gespräche geführt und viel zusammen gelacht.
Wir können diese Ferienwohnung nur Wärmstens empfehlen und würden gerne wiederkommen, die Schäfer´s aus Ludwigshafen
