Other recreational opportunities
A big Aqua Center is aprox. 25 minutes away in Alcanterilla. Sagres is worth a visit, you can visit the old military Fort, Fortaleza. Right around the corner towards Aljezur are nice beaches, perfect for surfing and more nice restaurants. The biggest town is Portimao, where you can find a lot of shopping centers, nice beaches ect.
Holiday destination
The Boavista Golf and Spa Resort is located right in the middle of a 18-hole Championship Golf course and only 2 km from the lovely Porto Mos Beach and Restaurants. Lagos has a beautiful historical old town with plenty of nice Restaurants and Pubs. It also has a big Marina with more restaurants and Pubs. The famous Meia Praia Beach with its many Restaurants is approx. 6 km away. In Lagos you can find a lot of super markets such as Continente, Aldi, Lidl, Intermarché, boutiques etc. A lot of water sport activities and boat trips to the tipical cliffs and caves are offered from the Marina. Praia de Luz and it's beautiful beach is only 5 km away . The nice Porto Mos beach is only 4 km away, it can also be reached by walking by the nearby cliffs
Getting there
2,5 hours from Lisbon Airport, take Motorway IP1/A2 direction to the Algarve, then when you reach the A22 after 2 hours turn right and take the A22 motorway direction Lagos/Portimao. 60 minutes from Faro Airport, via motorway A22 to Portimao/Lagos. For both options: Important, take Exit/Saida no. 1 to Lagos/Vila do Bispo, not Exit/Saida 2 Lagos, which is the first Exit, and will lead you to the City Center of Lagos instead. After the second round about take first exit direction Sagres/Luz. after approx. 500m turn left after the big sign Boavista Golf and Spa Resort. After about 300m to the right, you will find sign to the Clubhouse, where you can meet up with Paula Pereira.

Der Korrespondenz mit Frau Müller war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und wirklich schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Golfanlage und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Vielen Dank Frau Müller! Wir kommen gern noch einmal wieder!

Wir waren zum 2. Mal als Familie für 2 Wochen im August in dem wunderschönen Appartement von Frau Müller und waren wieder begeistert. Die Wohnung ist perfekt, absolut sauber (danke an Paula und Kevin), super gut gelegen: absolut ruhig und trotzdem nah an dem lebhaften und wunderschönen Lagos sowie den vielen Traumstränden in der Umgebung. Von hier aus kann man mit einem Mietwagen sowohl die Südküste mit den malerischen Badestränden als auch die Westküste mit den fantastischen Surfstränden sehr gut erreichen. Das Resort selbst ist sehr gepflegt, inkl. Pool, der zum Schwimmen ausreichend groß ist und morgens fast alleine genutzt werden kann. Der Kontakt mit Frau Müller ist sehr freundlich, alles passt und funktioniert. Vielen Dank für die schönen Ferien, wir kommen gerne wieder.
