Holiday destination
Our holiday flat Kamineiche is located directly at the train station, but separated by an overgrown sound and privacy wall and facing the park. This means you can enjoy perfect public transport connections, direct train connections to Kassel and numerous bus connections to many excursion destinations. We highly recommend the primeval forest nature reserve and the Sababurg zoo, which can also be reached by car in approx. 10 minutes.
Many things are within walking distance of the holiday flat: Shopping facilities, breakfast options, bakeries, beer gardens, restaurants, historic old town, city centre with tourist information and shopping facilities and much more.
The Reinhardswald nature reserve just outside the town offers a wide range of hiking and cycling tours, which can be planned in advance using the Reinhardswald Nature Park tour planner. Here are just a few examples of what else you can experience:
