Holiday destination
Quiet residential but central in the countryside.
The city centre can by reached easily by foot or bike, also the beach. Excursions from the port to the holms or Wadden Sea, including the seal banks are possible.
The town with picturesque streets, the city castle with the parc, the home of Theodor Storm, the Maritime Museum, the Ostenfelder farmhouse, etc. are worth for a visit.
Well worth seeing is also the weekly market:
Nearby you find the historic Dutch town of Friedrichstadt with its canals and the city of Tonning with shrimp boat harbour and the nature center of the Wadden Sea National Park.
Not far away you can reach St. Peter-Ording with its beautiful sandy beaches. Even a trip to the cathedral city of Schleswig and Flensburg or Baltic Sea are worthwhile.

By train to the train station of Husum
by car from Hamburg via A 23-Itzehoe-Heide-Husum, take exit "Husum-Rödemis".

Wir haben hier in Husum zwei Wochen Urlaub gemacht. Die Wohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet, alles vorhanden was wir brauchten. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und die Zeit hier sehr genossen. Es gab ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk was heute noch bei uns in Benutzung ist :)
Der Bäcker für frische Brötchen war fußläufig zu erreichen und auch die Innenstadt war nicht weit weg.
Die Lage ist wirklich aussergewöhnlich ruhig und friedlich. Wir haben uns Rund um Wohl gefühlt.
Die Lampe über dem Couchtisch ist ein Kopfmagnet ;)

Ruhig, aber dennoch nicht weit vom Zentrum gelegene, sehr nett eingerichtete Ferienwohnung.
Es ist alles vorhanden, was mann so braucht und wir fühlten uns gleich pudelwohl.
