Rötenbach is located central and is an ideal starting point for trips for example:
Titisee, Hinterzarten, Feldberg, Freiburg, Rhine Falls Schaffhausen, Triberger Waterfalls, Europapark Rust, wonderful tracking and skiing areas. We are located in the border triangle - so you are quick at the lake Constance, in Switzerland+France+Austria.
With the guest card you can drive with bus and train through the Black Forest free of cost. So you can explore the Black Forest without your car because Rötenbach has a train station.
Getting there
By car:
Over A5 - motorway exit "Freiburg Mitte - B31 direction Donaueschingen
Over A81 - three-leg interchange "Bad Dürrheim" onto A 864, then B27 and then B31 direction Freiburg
By train:
Via Freiburg with the "Höllentalbahn" to Neustadt. There you have to change trains. The next stop is Rötenbach. Here you have to deboard

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit traumhafte Balkon. Die Fam.Hug ist sehr freundlich, immer ein offenes Ohr. Super Lage, nahe am Bahnhof und Bushaltestelle.Auto hat auch Urlaub da man bei Ankunft die Konus Karte bekommt. E- bike kann in geschlossener Raum abgestellt worden. Schöne Umgebung zum Wandern und Fahrrad fahren, auch wenn das Wetter mal nicht so mitspielt.

Die "kuschelige Kleine" ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet inkl. eigenem überdachten Balkon, auf dem man nach den eindrucksvollen Wanderungen, die man dort unternehmen kann, entspannen kann. Das Ehepaar Hug kümmert sich rührend um seine Gäste, ist hilfsbereit, herzlich und sehr entgegenkommend. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen, aber feinen Dorfladen, der fußläufig erreichbar ist. Für das tägliche Wohl ist also auch schnell gesorgt. Wir haben uns bei Familie Hug wirklich rundum wohlgeführt und können diese Unterkunft in der wunderschönen Umgebung wärmstens empfehlen.
